Our story-

During the COVID19 lockdowns, seeing so much uncertainty and confusion in our world, we all had a strong desire to start something new. We have always loved to challenge ourselves and work with our hands, so we tried all sorts of new crafts, things like welding and woodworking, but nothing felt right. However, with leather being something we have always been surrounded and intrigued by, we couldn’t think of a better thing to take a crack at. After quickly falling in love with the tranquility of hand-stitching and the excitement of making new items, we knew we had found our grove. But what could we bring to the table that was new and exciting? We have always been proud of where we came from and had a passion for customizing our belongings to reflect this. Therefore, we set out to create a line of leather goods that are the highest quality, visually attractive, and practical, but also allowed for the option of being customized to any one person’s identity with their own name, logo, or anything they felt right for them.

Our Mission-

In our native South Texas, the use of leather and a focus on its expert craftsmanship is a staple in the area's culture. From the saddles that see long hot summer days working behind cattle to the city boots dusted off once a year for the rodeo, we believe that every piece of leather has a story. Our goal is to take this timelessly classic craft and integrate it with something modern and personal and create our own stories. We feel that anyone and everyone should take pride in the things that make them who they are, therefore, we strive to make every piece customizable with things like your name, a meaningful date, a ranch brand, company logo, and so much more.

Our Leather-

Our leather is sourced solely from the Wicket & Craig tannery in Curwensville, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1867, Wicket & Craig has a long history of producing premium vegetable tanned leather and is known particularly for their premium English Bridle style leather, our leather of choice. The vegetable tanning method used is a labor intensive, natural, and eco-friendly method of leather tanning that takes over six weeks, and their commitment to this process speaks for itself in the quality of their leather. (*Our products are crafted from full-grain leather, and while we strive to minimize marks or bruises during manufacturing, occasional natural variations may occur from the tannery.)
